Homemade Masks you can do it yourself
We owe pale faces and dry skin to winter. You can usually do a lot with simple foods.
Five do-it-yourself homemade masks that pamper your skin and hair.
Cracked lips, rough hands, brittle hair and dry skin – when the heaters are running at full speed in winter, we notice that in our bodies.
Almost everyone will find little helpers such as avocado, honey, and oatmeal in their kitchen. Moisturizing masks can be conjured up quickly.
1. Face homemade mask with avocado
A homemade mask with avocado and honey is particularly useful for dry skin because avocado is rich in fat and vitamins, and the honey soothes and cleanses the skin.
For the mask you need:
- ½ avocado
- 2 Teaspoons honey
- 1 tbsp Natural yogurt
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
First, cleanse the face thoroughly. Then mix all the ingredients. If you are struggling with blemished skin, you can add a little lemon juice. Apply the mask and let it work for about 20 minutes. Then rinse with warm water.
2. Facial homemade mask with oatmeal
Coconut oil and coconut water are rich in fat, nourish the skin and keep it soft. Even oatmeal can do that: they contain B vitamins, zinc, and copper – and thus make your skin glow.
For the mask you need:
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp oatmeal
- some coconut water
Again, wash your face thoroughly first. Then mix all the products and apply them to the skin. Leave on for about 15 minutes, then rinse with warm water.
3. Honey coffee homemade mask for smooth lips
Honey is a miracle cure and smoothes the cracks in dry lips. The coffee grounds activate and exfoliate at the same time.
For the mask you need:
- 1 teaspoon honey
- some coffee grounds
If you want, you can peel your lips with a little sugar first. Then mix the two ingredients and apply them to your lips in a circular motion. Leave on for about five minutes, then rinse off and use a lip balm.
4. Coconut homemade mask for brittle hair
Since coconut oil alone has a high-fat content, castor oil and argan oil can alternatively be dispensed with. The banana ensures shine and combability.
For the mask you need:
- 1 teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar
- ½ banana
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon castor oil
- 2 tbsp Coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon Argan oil
- Cling film
Crush the banana with a fork and warm the coconut oil. Then add the remaining ingredients and mix everything. Then knead the mass into the lengths of the hair. The individual strands with cling film wrap, so that the mask can better act. Leave in the foil for an hour, then wash and rinse your hair with a mild shampoo.
5. Homemade mask for delicate hands and feet
Dry hands are uncomfortable and can be painful. Even those with cracked feet quickly feel uncomfortable. This mask promises sensitive skin.
For the mask you need:
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Natural yogurt
- 1 tbsp Quark
- ½ banana
- 1 teaspoon Almond milk
Here too, mash the banana with a fork, then add and mix the remaining ingredients. Treat the feet with a file or pumice stone before use. Then spread the mass on the feet and leave for half an hour; rinse with warm water and apply the cream.
